Billericay Education Consortium has been named the No. 1 provider of Primary Initial Teacher Training in both Essex and England since 2011 and is the only provider in Essex to be awarded an Outstanding grade by Ofsted in 2010 and again in 2014.
The Billericay Educational Consortium consists of a group of schools covering large parts of Essex and Havering in Billericay, Chelmsford, Brentwood, Witham, Wickford, South Woodham Ferrers, Rayleigh and Basildon areas who work together on a range of educational initiatives and projects. These Essex schools work together in this way to enhance the educational effectiveness of each school for the benefit of the pupils in the area through expert teacher training courses for both Secondary and Primary teaching.
